Each Scout is highly encouraged to participate in supporting the Troop and earning their way through the Scouting program! One of the ways we do that is through the annual Council Popcorn Sale. Each Scout should set a goal to sell $500 in products, either online or during show-and-sell, to help pay their own way. Scouts can participate in show-and-sell events and advertise online with their unique code to help get to that goal.

Online ordering:

This sales technique utilizes email, social media, and websites to sell popcorn.  Online sales will be a very important part of the 2022 popcorn sale.  Online sales are completely touchless sales.  The customer orders via this link:  https://ordering.campmasters.org/PopcornOrdering and identifies the Scout they wish to support by using the Scout’s unique Key Code generated after the Scout registers themselves at https://ordering.campmasters.org/CampMasters/Registration.  The customer makes their purchase and pays online, the popcorn is sent directly to the customer’s preferred shipping address.  Key points are:

1. The Scout gets credit for the online sale for their prize selection

2. The Unit gets credit for the online sales toward earning bonus unit commissions

3. The product lineup & pricing on the online popcorn store is different from our council’s product lineup locally for show and sell and take orders.

… Great Idea: 50 State Sales Campaign – Encourage your Scouts to set up their online sales account profile / bio.  Record a video sales message asking for help reaching their goal of having a sale in all 50 states.  Use social media to spread the message around the country and reach new customers.  Recently, one Scout family did this and had over $3,000 in sales in only five days selling in all 50 states!
